Day 2 is the day our swim team has GOT to win Gold! Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte are expected in action, as is Katie Ledecky who is nursing heartbreak. The swimming events you just have to look out for are:

The women’s gymnastic team, including the delightful Simone Biles with all that pressure on her young shoulders, will show the men’s team how it’s done in the qualifiers. Televised coverage on NBC starts at:

Olympics tennis continues, which you can watch live on the Tennis Channel. Expect the likes of Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams battle it out with the world’s best as they aim for gold.

You’re always in for a treat when Neymar, and the Brazilian soccer team play. They will want to win their second match after a 0-0 tie in their first game against South Africa. You can watch that on NBCSN:
