Kesha made a big splash at the Waterfront at Harrah’s in Atlantic City on Saturday, Aug 6, when she not only kicked off her ‘F*** The World Tour,’ but she thanked her fans for sticking by her ‘during the hardest f***ing years of my life.’
“You guys stuck by me during the hardest f***ing years of my life. I’m serious I could not have made it through without you,” Kesha told the audience at the Waterfront at Harrah’s in Atlantic City on Saturday, Aug. 6.
This was both the first night of Kesha’s tour, and the first time anyone has ever performed at the new venue, so it was definitely a special occasion for everyone involved. And as you know, Kesha has been in a legal battle with music producer Dr. Luke and her record company, Sony, for the past several months (Kesha has been trying to get out of her contract because she alleges Dr. Luke sexually assaulted her). Because of this, she could only perform old material and cover songs, but her fans were just grateful to see her on stage again.
“Leave any s*** that’s bothering you outside these four walls,” Kesha also said. And that’s something she was probably doing herself, as well.
And before her last song of the night, Kesha told the crowd, “I’m sick and tired of hearing I can’t sing. This really sums up my life right now. When you’re stuck you gotta have hope and you gotta have faith this one’s called I shall be released.”
We must note — Kesha seemed really energetic and excited while on stage Saturday evening. Clearly, she loves performing. And her fans loved seeing her on stage again.
