SO good! Seth Rogen appeared on ‘The Tonight Show’ on August 5, and he brought his top-notch lip-syncing skills with him. The actor and Jimmy Fallon faced off in a hilarious Lip Sync Battle. Check it out and see who won here!
We are still laughing over this epic moment! While most of the world was tuned into the Olympic opening ceremony to see the best athletes prepare for their competition, Jimmy, 41, and Seth, 34, had a battle of their own. After Jimmy introduced the name of the game, the late-night host kicked off the competition mouthing the words to a song by Kent Jones, 23, called “Don’t Mind.” And as the record started spinning, Jimmy began flailing his arms around and bouncing, while trying to keep up with the tune. And for the most part, he really did a great job. But what made the moment even more comical is that he was wearing a suit while trying to sing along to a hip hop song. SO funny!
After Jimmy finished his set, it was Seth’s turn, and he definitely didn’t disappoint. The Neighbors 2 actor was even in cahoots with The Roots band, who regularly perform on the late-night show. And as a tribute to Seth’s favorite band, the actor lip-synced along to the group’s classic, “Mellow My Man,” from the 1995 album Do You Want More. And Seth totally nailed it! Not only did he know every single word, but he had the moves to back it up.
But Jimmy wasn’t ready to throw in the towel just yet. He came back with a rap song as well, Onyx’s 1993 hit, “Slam.” But unfortunately for him, Seth stole the show once again with his rendition of Drake’s, 29, “Hotline Bling.” And to make his performance even more memorable, he brought out a huge, grey sweater to wear while he reenacted the dance moves from Drake’s music video. We don’t want to pick sides or anything, but it definitely seems like Seth outdid Jimmy this time around.
