It’s finally here! The first trailer for Harry Styles’ new movie ‘Dunkirk’ has arrived. The footage shows that this movie is going to be one harrowing WWII drama and one of the best movies of 2017. Click to WATCH!
The trailer starts out with a man walking towards the ocean, dropping his gear on the sand. Then we see hundreds of soldiers on the beach. The last footage reveals a group of soldiers on a boat. They see something above them and it’s not something good.
The soldiers duck and try to protect themselves from the imminent attack. The tagline of the trailer reads, “At the point of crisis, at the point of annihilation, survival is victory.”
Harry, 22, is not featured in the trailer, but it’s only a 30-second tease. He could be standing in that group of soldiers, but it’s impossible to pinpoint where he is. Hopefully when the full trailer is out, we’ll get to see Harry’s pretty face on the big screen!
The One Direction singer underwent quite the transformation for his role in Christopher Nolan’s war movie. He cut his long locks off in favor of a shorter look earlier this year to play a young WWII soldier. He’s been pictured looking dirty and in full WWII gear on the set of the movie. HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that Harry’s part was only a small one at first, but he impressed the director so much that his “role has been expanded.”
The movie follows Allied soldiers from Belgium, Britain and France who are surrounded by the German army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II. Dunkirk also stars Tom Hardy, 38, Cillian Murphy, 40, Kenneth Branagh, 55, and Mark Rylance, 56. The movie is set to be released on July 21, 2017.
