Is July 29 the end of the world as we know it?! A crazy doomsday theory suggests that Earth will shatter tonight, when a magnetic flip in our planet will coincide with the second coming of Jesus. Wait, WHAT?! You HAVE to watch here to get all the details.
The End Times Prophecies claim there’s outstanding evidence that points to the fact that the world will face a catastrophic finish on July 29. In a lengthy YouTube video, the theory is explained, but the basis is this: A magnetic polar flip will overlap with the second coming of Jesus, leading to earthquakes all over the planet that will cause the Earth to “crack and shatter and split open.”
In the video, a narrator points out several passages from Bible that explain the multiple catastrophes that will occur, and what will happen afterward. Watch the whole 18-minute clip to find out everything the theorists believe will go down!
Don’t worry, though: NASA has confirmed that it’s highly unlikely this magnetic flip will end the world. “Many doomsday theorists have tried to take this natural geological occurrence and suggest it could lead to Earth’s destruction,” the space organization said in a statement. “But would there be any dramatic effects? The answer, from the geologic and fossil records we have from hundreds of past magnetic polarity reversals, seems to be no.”
So, obviously, NASA cannot completely confirm that the world won’t end, but considering magnetic flips have been happening for all of time and there has been no doomsday, we should be pretty safe. And if you’re still worried, here’s some assurance: The same group that put out this theory on YouTube also predicted that an asteroid would strike Earth in May…and as we all know, that never happened!
HollywoodLifers, do you think the world will end tonight? Or are these doomsday theorists being ridiculous?
