Drake totally shocked fans by bringing Kanye West on stage during his Chicago concert on July 27! But Yeezy took things to a whole new level by finally addressing those leaked videos of his phone calls with Taylor Swift — and gushed over Kim Kardashian for releasing them. Watch here!
Kanye West, 39, joined Drake, 29, in Chicago to sing “Father Stretch My Hands” and “Pop Style,” but it was before he rocked out to his controversial hit “Famous” that things really got interesting.
“All I gotta say is, I’m so glad my wife has Snapchat!” ‘Ye told the crowd, referring to how Kim Kardashian, 35, leaked his phone calls with Taylor Swift, 26, about the song on the social media app. “Because now you all can know the truth! And can’t nobody talk s*** about ‘Ye no more!”
The rapper has kept quiet since Kim put the shocking videos on her Snapchat feed, but he clearly has no problem with her decision to do so. In case you haven’t been keeping up, the couple is in an all-out feud with Tay because she claimed ‘Ye never played her the song “Famous,” which features a controversial lyric about her, before releasing it in February.
That’s where the phone calls come in: Kim wanted to prove that Kanye did in fact tell Taylor that he was going to sing about her on the track. But the 26-year-old is holding her ground, because the calls never show Yeezy telling her he was going to call her “that b***” in the song, it only shows him telling her about the “I think me and Taylor Swift might still have sex” line. Yes, it’s very complicated, you guys!
Taylor issued a lengthy statement on Instagram about the drama after Kim released the tapes, but has kept her lips sealed ever since. How will she retaliate next?!
