The moment we’ve been waiting for all week has finally arrived! Hillary Clinton took the stage at the Democratic National Convention on July 28, looking stunning in an all-white pantsuit. HollywoodLife.com has the scoop on her distinguished and fashion-forward ensemble, right here!
All eyes were on Hillary Clinton, 68, as she spoke at the DNC on July 28 as the official Democratic presidential nominee, and the first woman to be nominated for president of the United States. Sticking to her usual pantsuit, Hillary looked dignified while standing proudly in her pristine blazer and boot cut pairing. We knew the political figure would pull out all the stops for her big night — and she certainly delivered with her monochromatic ensemble. White suit for the white house! She wore a dainty chain which draped over her blouse, also opting for tiny sterling silver hoops that peeked out from her styled locks.
Only one night prior, Hillary looked stunning in a royal blue ensemble, opting for matching one-inch pumps that were the perfect final touch for the momentous occasion. The DNC has been full of so many amazing speeches and celebrity appearances that’s hard to keep track of. Earlier in the week, Hillary’s husband and former president Bill Clinton took the stage to speak, as well as President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, who had everyone cheering on night one of the DNC when she said, “Because of Hillary Clinton, my daughters, and all our sons and daughters, now take for granted that a woman can be president of the United States.”
Then there were the celeb appearances, which included speeches and musical performances. Actress Elizabeth Banks spoke in support of Hillary, and Alicia Keys and Demi Lovato both performed earlier in the week, leaving Hillary’s longtime celebrity supporter, Katy Perry to take the stage last.
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Hillary’s speech? Did you keep up with the DNC?
