Shots fired! Vice President Joe Biden spoke at the DNC on July 27, throwing his support behind Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine. And during his speech, he also totally slammed Donald Trump! See what he said here.
It’s going to be hard to follow that speech! Barack Obama, 54, better bring his A-Game, because Joe Biden, 73, wowed the third night of the Democratic National Convention with a speech that had him throwing multiple jabs at Donald Trump.
Not only did Joe say Trump as President would be “malarkey,” because he doesn’t care about the middle class, but he also said, “This guy doesn’t have a clue about the Middle Class. Not a clue. He has no clue about what makes America Great. Actually he has no clue. Period.” And that incited the crowd to start chanting, “Not a Clue! Not a Clue!”
“His lack of empathy and compassion can be summed up in a phrase I suspect he’s most proud of having made famous, ‘you’re fired,'” Joe also said of Trump in his speech.

The former Senator from Delaware was among the many cheering on Hillary Clinton, 68, and Tim Kaine, 58, as they challenge Donald Trump, 70, and Mike Pence, 57, for the White House.
Joe’s speech may have been the final major political address of his career. After he and President Obama leave the White House, he has “no intention” of running for public office again, according to NPR. Instead, he’s focusing on Cancer Moonshot, a new initiative to make therapies available to more patients. The cause is sadly very personal for the vice president, as Joe’s son, Beau Biden, passed away from brain cancer in 2015.
Joe teased a possible 2016 Presidential run, possibly challenging Hillary and Bernie Sanders, 74, for the Democratic Party’s pick. However, in Oct. 2015, he decided that the “window on mounting a realistic campaign…has closed.” Joe had planned on running but in between losing his son and being the VP, there wasn’t any time.
What do you think about Joe Biden’s speech at the DNC, HollywoodLifers? Are you sad to see him leave politics or are you glad he’s working to help cancer research?
