After last week’s cliffhanger, the beginning of ‘The Bachelorette’ meant JoJo had to chose which three men she’d be bringing with her to Thailand — and ultimately, to the overnight date in the fantasy suites.
And the final three are… Jordan, Robby and Chase. Even after he pulled her aside to say he was falling in love with her, she told him that she struggled with knowing where he stood. Their goodbye was tough to watch — she was sobbing in his arms, telling him that she didn’t know how to say goodbye. The most heartbreaking part was that Luke couldn’t even believe it — he didn’t know he wasn’t saying enough and actually said, “you didn’t want me.” Oh Luke, please be the next Bachelor. Yup, we’re crying. When he got in the car, he said he felt like he got hit by a train, and said, “I was in love with her, but I never got the chance to love her.” Ouch.
And just like that, the final three and JoJo headed to Thailand. First up was Robby’s date, which honestly was pretty boring but to her, romantic and she felt all the butterflies afterward, leading him into the fantasy suite. But let’s get to Jordan — another romantic one that started off by doing the Baywatch run down the beach to her. Their date into a cave and then temple was a test: they weren’t allowed to kiss in there — something tough for them since their relationship is based on their attraction. Over dinner, she again told him her fears and he reassured her he was in love. With that, on to the suites.
Going in to her date with Chase, JoJo admitted to herself that she was in love with both Jordan and Robby. Props for not telling them both! However, their date was interrupted by Robby because he
got a new tan to show off just missed her oh so much. Ugh. Back to Chase. After dinner, they went to the fantasy suite where he said (for the first time in his life) he loved her. But she didn’t feel the way she thought she would — so she went outside to gather herself before doing what she needed to do. In comparison to her relationships with the other two, it just wasn’t at that point.
He was devastated, to say the least, when she told him that staying the night together wouldn’t change the way she felt — she didn’t want to lead him on any further. He said he felt like she was telling him “I don’t love you, so get the f–k out.” He did hug her… but when she was walking him out, he was angry. Luckily, he had a beer in the car. It wasn’t the most graceful exit — but lucky for him, it wasn’t the last time she saw him.
He showed up to the rose ceremony to ask for a quick second, since that’s basically the theme this time around. Of course, the brooding boys in blue weren’t too thrilled. Chase came back to apologize, and tell him that he was actually very impressed with her. It was sweet and naturally made her double think her decision to send him home. Ugh, c’mon girl — it’s not there and you know it. Anyways, Jordan and Robby both got roses! So, who will win her heart?
