We were totally rooting for Katie Holmes, 37, and Jamie Foxx, 48, to work out, but Star magazine claims an insider spotted Katie looking super unhappy after returning to her NYC apartment and it’s because her relationship with Jamie is on the rocks.
The report detailed that Katie was hurt and angry after photos emerged of Jamie holding hands with a mysterious blonde woman at a Miami hotel. Apparently, Jamie flew to Toronto, where Katie was on location filming The Kennedys: After Camelot, and tried to repair the damage. The source told the outlet, “Katie was shocked and blindsided. She wasn’t expecting something like this to come out of the blue.” Eek!

The couple has been under a microscope since Real Housewife of Atlanta Claudia Jordan confirmed their relationship back in June, although they are rumored to have first gotten together in October 2013. According to eyewitness reports, on July 7, Jamie and Katie apparently met in private at the Toronto restaurant Kasa Moto. She was described as “very serious” and tense, as stated by the report.
Evidently, Katie and Jamie left the restaurant separately – going so far as to take different exits! The source reported that Jamie was “professing his innocence” and “he claims that he’d been introduced to the sexy blonde by a mutual acquaintance. He told Katie he wasn’t holding her hand, but was simply shaking it while saying goodbye after they had shared a few words.”
Jamie was spotted in NYC, shielded from the sun in a hat and shades, on July 8. Katie is apparently taking some time to decide the fate of their relationship, as well as explain to Suri their changing relationship. The report concluded with the insider sharing, “Their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they get back together and go all in again, sooner rather than later.”
