Over the years, Arnold has changed quite a bit. He’s sporting a new blue jacket over the top of his signature sweater. He’s still the cutest football head around! Gerald has swapped his 33 T-shirt for a red sweatshirt.
Helga is still as angry as ever with her fist in the air, but she looks pretty much the same. Phoebe has made a wardrobe change just like Arnold and Gerald. Instead of her normal long sweater dress, she’s rocking a sassy light blue skirt, dark blue sweater and a collared shirt.
Many of the original voice actors will be returning for the TV movie, including Francesca Marie Smith as Helga, Anndi McAfee as Phoebe, Justin Shenkarow as Harold, Olivia Hack as Rhonda, Nika Futterman as Olga and Dan Butler as Mr. Simmons, according to our sister site Variety. Mason Vale Cotton and Benjamin “Lil’ P-Nut” Flores Jr. will now be voicing Arnold and Gerald. However, the original actors who voiced Arnold and Gerald will voice other roles in the movie.
The movie will reveal what happened to Arnold’s parents. The mystery of Arnold’s parents have raised so many questions by fans over the years. Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie will premiere in 2017.
