Here it comes! The highlight of the final night of the Republican National Convention on July 21 will surely be when Donald Trump and his lovely daughter Ivanka take the stage. But when will that happen? We have all of the details, right here.
The moment everyone’s been waiting for is on the horizon. Donald Trump will finally address the world as the GOP’s official presidential nominee. We’re sure you’re waiting with bated breath to hear what he has to say, so here’s what you need to know. Night four of the RNC is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm EST, and to go until about 10:00 pm EST. There are five less speakers than last night, so it will be shorter, and Donald will likely begin speaking at 9:30 EST. Tune in at 9:00 EST to safely catch Ivanka Trump’s introduction as well.
On July 21, Ivanka admitted her speech would be very short, just to introduce her dad and share her perspective on him. “I know the man as a parent, and I can share how he raised me and my siblings, and the father he was,” she explained on TODAY. “But also I can talk about the man he is as a leader and an entrepreneur and a business builder and a visionary. Knowing him from those two very different vantage points, but seeing similar attributes really transcend both worlds, I think it gives me a bit of a unique perspective in that regard.”
However, she also admitted that she’s scared to go in front of the biggest crowd of her life to introduce her father. “I am terrified. I’ve never spoken in a stadium like this, but really I just want to make sure I do a great job for him,” she said. “It’s a real honor and a privilege that he asked me to do this, and I think it’s a testament to him as a parent.”
