We’re still stunned by the news that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have called it quits after five whole years together! We couldn’t help but wonder if cheating could be to blame. A source gives HollywoodLife.com the EXCLUSIVE answer, right here.
Too many celebrity relationships end because of infidelity, so we immediately questioned whether or not that could be to blame for Lady Gaga, 30, and Taylor Kinney’s shocking split revealed by TMZ on July 19. Luckily, that isn’t the case.
“Nobody cheated,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. As a matter of fact, neither of them did anything “wrong,” so much as the passion just wasn’t there anymore. “Their relationship was pretty strong and it worked out pretty well and then they got engaged.”
There are always telltale signs that a relationship just isn’t quite right, and for Taylor and Gaga, it was that time apart didn’t bother them anymore. “Things pretty much ended there, they were OK with the distance their relationship provided from time to time,” the source continued. So sad!
TMZ broke the news that the couple is no longer together and had split earlier in July. There were definitely some signs before the split was revealed: they haven’t been seen together in person or in photos for a while, Lady Gaga was caught out a few times without her rings, and she wasn’t seen with Taylor for his 35th birthday. Though there is still no word on why they decided to end the relationship after five years together and an engagement, we’re so glad that cheating wasn’t the culprit here.
HollywoodLifers, are you glad that cheating wasn’t involved in Taylor and Lady Gaga’s split? Why DO you think they decided to break off their engagement? Share your thoughts with us!
