From villain to victorious! Social media users are in total SHOCK after the former ‘Apprentice’ star Omarosa Manigault announced that she will be the director of Donald Trump’s head of African-American Outreach for his presidential campaign. We’ve got their surprised reactions, right here!
It’s been a big day for the 42-year-old reality star, who proudly revealed on July 18 that she will be serving a pivotal role alongside Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump. “It is a very difficult time for our country, but the good thing I know is that I know Donald at his heart … and I know what he can do in that role,” she explained to MSNBC. Although Omarosa is elated about her new responsibilities, people were blown away that she was in consideration for such an important position during a racial divide. Some took to social media to give a piece of their mind.

Despite recent polls that show Donald has ZERO percent support from African Americans in Ohio where Omarosa resides, she claimed that the readings must not accurately reflect their perspectives. “I just spent an amazing weekend with African Americans for Trump, about 300 of them.”
Omarosa continued: My reality is I’m surrounded by people who want to see Donald Trump as the next president of the United States who are African American,” she explained. “Donald Trump is focused on improving the conditions of African Americans in this country…unemployment in African-American community is at an all time high.”
She also shared that her upcoming project will be “an extension” of the work she’s been doing at the National Diversity Coalition. Omarosa first caught the attention of many during the first season of The Apprentice in 2004, where she quickly became known as the intelligent one NOT to mess with. Considering she returned for the “all-star” season, we’re sure Donald is fully aware and accepting.
