As Melania Trump spoke at the RNC on July 18, the wife of Donald Trump said he would be a president not just for Republicans, but every single American. The woman Donald introduced as an ‘amazing mother’ said that Donald will help lead the US into a wonderful future!
Melania Trump, 46, isn’t running for president, but after hearing the ovation she received at the Republican National Convention, the former model might want to think about a career in politics. She certainly had the crowd on its feet during the July 18 event, especially when she said that Donald is a president not just for the GOP, but for the USA.
After Donald made a dramatic entrance to Queen’s “We Are The Champions,” he said, “It is my great honor to present the next first lady of the United States, my wife, an amazing mother an incredible woman, Melania Trump.” Then, for the first time that anyone could remember, Donald let someone else speak!
“Donald Trump is ready to serve and lead this country,” she said. Despite his divisive nature, Melania said her husband was “kind” and full of “compassion” and will be the man who leads the whole country, not just those who vote for him. She promised that Donald will “never band down” and “never give up,” and that he will do what he can to — you guessed it — “make America great again.”
At the end of the speech, Melania received a standing ovation and some sexy PDA from her husband! Donald came back out to show how proud he was of his wife, before wrapping his arm around her in a sweet embrace! Could this be the next First Couple moving into the White House?
The theme of the night was “Make America Safe Again,” addressing how America’s “immigration system is broken, leaving [America] open to security threats and the negative consequences of illegal immigration,” per the RNC’s official website. Donald’s plan to end illegal immigration is, as everyone knows, to build a giant wall between America and Mexico, while banning all Muslims from entering. While many people have blasted Trump’s ideas, Melania has praised them. Melania, who is an immigrant from Slovenia, said, “I applied for a visa. I went by the system. I went by the law, and you should do that.”
Melania also thinks that her husband has every American’s best interests at heart. “He wants to take care of America and the American people and keep it safe,” she said while talking with Fox News. “He sees the potential America has and he wants to help.”
