Get ready, America. Donald Trump will officially announce Mike Pence as his vice president on July 16, naming the Indiana governor as his right hand man. HollywoodLife.com wants you see this important decision so click to watch.
Donald Trump, 70, says he wants to “Make America Great Again,” but even he knows he can’t do it alone. He thinks that Mike Pence, 57, is the perfect man for the job and on July 16, he’ll tell the Indiana governor, “You’re hired!” The ex-Celebrity Apprentice star will kick off the real race for the White House at 11:00 A.M. EST so be prepared to watch.
Someone let the cat out of the bag early, as reports spoiled Donald’s big surprise by revealing that Mike would be the next GOP VP candidate. Still, Trump was going to make a HUGE announcement on July 15, but he postponed it out of respect for those killed in Nice, France. He eventually confirmed the worst-kept secret in politics on — surprise, surprise — Twitter.
Since Mike is now Donald’s VP BFF, the November elections will be very interesting. Mike was about to face a huge challenge from Democrat John Gregg, 61, for the governorship. However, Indiana law says that one candidate can’t run for two offices on a single ballot, per the Washington Post, so Mike has to drop out of the governor’s race. Now, if the staunch social conservative doesn’t help Donald defeat Hillary Clinton, 68, Mike will be out of a job.
So much for Donald’s bromance with Chris Christie, 53. After Donald demolished New Jersey governor in the GOP primary, Chris became the ex-Celebrity Apprentice star’s biggest fan (though many mocked him for it.) Is the next painful face Chris makes one from a broken heart since he didn’t get the vice president job? Or will he put on a happy face while plastering “Trump — Pence 2016” bumper stickers all around the Garden State?
Do you think Donald will officially name Mike Pence as his vice president, HollywoodLifers? Or do you think he’s going to surprise everyone and pick someone else?
