OMG! Kristen Wiig appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on July 13, but not as herself. Instead, she came in the form of ‘The Bachelorette’s JoJo Fletcher, and her hilarious impression was SO on point! Watch it here.
Kristen Wiig, 42, originally came on the show to promote her new film, Ghostbusters, but she actually arrived in character — as JoJo, 25! Kristen dressed the part of The Bachelorette, wearing a long, brunette wig and a beaded gown. And regardless of the fact that Kristen seemed to have never seen an episode of the hit reality show in her life, she managed to put herself in JoJo’s shoes and answer Jimmy’s ridiculous questions!
Jimmy started easy, asking where “JoJo” and her bachelors like to go on dates. “The Fantasy Suites, that’s where I go on dates,” the comedian replied while trying to hold back laughter. “And we close the door. Sometimes we kiss a little, or we like, rub each other. It’s a show, so we have to like, pretend, but sometimes we go all the way.”
But then he got into the hard-hitting questions about JoJo’s failed relationship with The Bachelor’s Ben Higgins, 28, who didn’t choose her on the show’s 20th season finale! She even dropped an exclusive detail about Ben’s current status. “We don’t talk…because he’s married. I’m not supposed to say, but he’s married,” she revealed. Umm, Ben isn’t married to Lauren Bushnell, 25, yet, but we’ll give you a pass this time, Kristen. Jimmy awkwardly stared at her before giving her the opportunity to send him one final message. “Ben, you know we went through a lot, and you promised me things,” she said. “I just feel hurt. And look at me now!” This is pure comedy!
But speaking of “the now,” Jimmy then showed “JoJo” pictures of her final four contenders, and she had no clue who Robby Hayes, 27, Chase McNary, 27, Luke Pell, 31, or Jordan Rodgers, 27, were! She called Luke “Scotchie” and renamed Jordan, “Mark Hamill.”
“That’s his nickname. Because he reminds me of Mark Hamill…from Star Wars? Look at him! He looks exactly like Luke Skywalker.” So Kristen didn’t have all the facts down when it came to nailing her impersonation, but she definitely left our abs hurting from laughing so hard. Let’s just hope the real JoJo Fletcher will remember the name of her special guy when the season finale airs on August 1.
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Kristen’s impersonation of JoJo?
