Hello, sunshine! Melissa McCarthy was a vision in bright yellow for a ‘Ghostbusters’ appearance on ‘TODAY’. She’s looking better than ever after losing an incredible 70 pounds!
Melissa McCarthy, 45, wore a lemon yellow dress when she appeared on the TODAY show on July 12 with her Ghostbusters castmates: Kate McKinnon, 32, Kristen Wiig, 42, Leslie Jones, 48, as well as director Paul Feig. Each Ghostbuster looked lovely (and so did Paul!), but Melissa was a total standout, especially after her major weight loss.
Melissa is the incredible shrinking woman! The hilarious actress looked beautiful for her morning show appearance, beaming brighter than the NYC sunshine. The Gilmore Girls star was wearing a bright yellow, high-waisted dress with billowing long sleeves. The dress featured a full midi skirt and front pleats, making it both sweet and a little more casual than her recent red carpet looks — perfect for entertaining first thing in the morning!
Melissa paired her pretty dress with strappy snakeskin heels and oversized tortoiseshell sunglasses. It made the whole ensemble look ’70s chic, when coupled with her gorgeous ombré waves. The actress lost a reported 70 pounds, and you can tell in this adorable outfit. She first showed off her hard work, and new figure, in a cute pink dress at the ELLE Women In Comedy party on June 7. Melissa and her Ghostbusters castmates were featured on four separate covers. Melissa has credited her weight loss in the past to a high protein, low carb diet — and going to bed super duper early!
Melissa (or her stylist) has really figured out that yellow is her color, because she looked absolutely beautiful in a yellow gown at the Ghostbusters premiere! Her dress for the LA premiere, on July 9, was actually the same shape as the one she wore on TODAY: long sleeves, high waist, and full, floaty skirt. Hey, if it works, stick with it! This dress featured a nude underlay, topped with a sheer body embroidered with bright yellow flowers. Beautiful!
