1. He’s a student athlete
Cordell attends UCLA, where he plays football for the school’s prestigious program. As a redshirt Freshman, Cordell wasn’t officially eligible to play his first year in school, but he’s listed on the roster as a wide receiver for the upcoming 2016 season.
2. He studies film

3. He’s a model
Cordell clearly likes to keep busy: On top of school and football, he’s also a working model, and even signed to the prestigious company, Wilhelmina models, in June. Damn!
4. His mom is Snoop’s high school sweetheart
Snoop married his high school sweetheart, Shante Taylor, in June 1997, just four months after Cordell was born. Even though the couple split in May 2004, they renewed their vows on Jan. 12, 2008, and have been together since. Cordell has an older brother, Cordes, and a younger sister, Cori.
5. He got his love of sports from his dad
Snoop is a certified football coach and actually coached Cordell in the sport when he was a youth athlete. The rapper also helped out with Cordell’s high school team at John A. Rowland high school. Besides UCLA, Cordell also got scholarships from USC, Washington, California, Oregon State, Duke and Notre Dame. Not too shabby!
