Kate Middleton totally turned heads when she dared in one of the trendiest silhouettes of the season — an off-the-shoulder dress! She debuted a brand new look from designer Barbara Casasola for her latest appearance, and we loved it. Did you?
Kate Middleton, 34, debuted a brand-new look when she stepped out in a dress crafted by designer Barbara Casasola for an awards ceremony at the Natural History Museum in London on July 6, where the Duchess was on hand to present the Art Fund Museum of the Year 2016 prize — and she totally had us doing a double-take when we saw her latest look! The “Royal Recycler” left her familiar frocks behind in favor of a seriously trendy silhouette as she donned a cream off-the-shoulder dress.
Kate’s mesh-paneled stretch-jersey dress fell right at the ankle and featured long sleeves — and it definitely ushers in a whole new Kate! It seems like this year she’s really having fun with her fashion and embracing new trends, (as much as she can while still looking appropriate and chic, of course). Kate’s frock was crafted by Barbara Casasola, a Brazilian-born, London-based designer who studied at Central Saint Martins, and it currently retails for $1,105, (that is, until it entirely sells out).
Her daring sense of style didn’t strictly stop at the frock, she also rocked a pair of pretty pink ankle-strap Schutz sandals which really elevated the look. I wouldn’t have been surprised to see her rely on her go-to heels, which is why it was even more exciting to see her sport a bright hue on her shoes. From head-to-toe her look was simply stunning!
