Yikes! Fans are furious about Tyga’s sexy new ‘1 Of 1’ music video featuring Amina Blue! They’re calling out Tyga for cultural appropriation by casting a white girl as his local love interesting in Jamaica, and for her wearing traditional African Bantu knots in her hair. See their angry tweets.
Uh oh, Tyga, 26, might have some explaining to do! Fans are irate that he picked a white girl to play the “local” he fell in love with in Jamaica in his new “1 Of 1” music video. Not only that, but blonde beauty Amina Blue, 23, was rocking Bantu knots – a traditional African hairstyle. See fans’ claims of cultural appropriation, right here.
Tyga’s fans feel totally betrayed. They were pumped to see that he was filming his newest music video in Kingston, Jamaica, where his father is from (his mom is from Vietman), but they were sorely disappointed when they realized he had cast a white, blonde girl as his love interest instead of a real local. He said he wanted to come “f*ck with the people,” but Amina was definitely out of place.
Amina appears to be the only white person in the community, and is represented as the daughter of the Governor, who is clearly black. He comes in and yells at Tyga for bringing his daughter into a “dangerous situation.” Despite being a “local,” Amina is rocking a bright new tourist t-shirt while everyone else in the background is wearing duller, dustier clothes. To make matters worse, the half German/half Pakistani beauty wore her blonde hair up in the traditional African style of Bantu knots, which only further upset his fans.
Here are some of their angry responses to the video:
So @Tyga goes to Jamaica to film this video, and with all the dark-skinned girls in the background, he picks the white lookin chick 😑

The message Tyga sent in his latest video is just proof on the mentality some Black men have. That white women are some kind of upgrade.
