So sad! Teresa Giudice couldn’t fight back her tears on ‘Good Morning America’ while discussing her husband Joe’s lengthy absence while away in prison. She actually had to stop mid-interview to contain herself. Poor thing.
Teresa Giudice, 44, broke down on Good Morning America while sharing her struggles regarding Joe Giudice, 44, as he completes his 41-month stint in prison. She even walked away during their heartfelt interview so she could catch her breath. Watch as the reality star struggles to explain what her life is like now with her four daughters as her husband sits in jail.
“Well, he lived through the whole thing. I’m just…I’m getting emotional, ” Teresa said while revealing the advice she gave to Joe, during a pre-taped interview with GMA shared on July 5. “Sorry,” she continued to correspondent Mara Schiavocampo. It was clear to see that it was a tough subject, as her voice trembled and she tried to stop her eyes from welling up. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was discussing her husband’s departure since March 2016 and how her family has adjusted to the recent changes. “It’s hard. We e-mail every day,” Teresa revealed. “We talk every day, and I see him every week.”
Teresa certainly knows the internal battle is real, considering she completed her own 11 month sentence in prison late last year for fraud. Since Joe is not a U.S. citizen, he faces possible deportation to Italy when his sentence ends. When asked if she was nervous about what’s ahead, she said, “No, I think our future is not uncertain. He’s gonna be home, we’re gonna be together, and that’s that I’m looking forward to.”
The pair married in 1999 and share four daughters together: Gia Giudice, 15, Gabriella Giudice, 11, Milania Giudice, 10, and Audriana Giudice, 6. The Bravo star explained that “they miss their dad, of course—tremendously—just like I do, but, you know, they’re doing as well as could be expected.”
Teresa revealed their kids have grown accustomed to having one parent around for the time being. “They’re amazing. They’re really strong young girls.” Teresa said that she appreciates the lessons she learned while behind bars. She admitted that it gave her much needed quiet time and she also found yoga there, which “centers” her. The RHONJ beauty will be returning for season 7 of the hit reality show while Joe works as a plumber and exercises to stay on his grind.
