Poor LaTavia Roberson! The 34-year-old singer and actress first wowed fans while standing alongside Beyonce, 34, Kelly Rowland, 35, and LeToya Luckett, 35, as part of Destiny’s Child. Now, she and her unborn child are struggling to stay alive!
LaTavia is reportedly “fighting for her life” after being hospitalized following “complications” with her second pregnancy. There hasn’t been an update since the news broke on July 4, and fans are nervously on the edge of their seat as they wait for any further details.
“I pray LaTavia Roberson is okay,” one fan tweeted. “Bad baby news is a lot of heartache for any expected Mom to deal with.” Other fans were “sending up prayers” for LaTavia and her baby. Others pointed out how pregnancy can be “so hard on a woman’s body” and they were praying for the best for both baby and mother.
Mostly, everyone wanted some news about her condition. In between people getting their “#PrayersUp,” most asked if the “Illusion” singer was “all right.” Some just wanted “any update” on her, as they continued to pray that she wins the fight for her life.
Praying for the well-being of LaTavia Roberson and her unborn child as of this tweet from my end in NYC.

LaTavia was one of the original members of Destiny’s Child, along with Beyonce, Kelly and Nikki and Nina Taylor. While Nick and Nina dropped out in 1992 (making room, briefly, for Tamar Davis, 36, and LeToya) LaTavia was part of the group until 2000. She sang on “Say My Name” and “Bills, Bills, Bills,” two of the big hits off of Destiny’s Childs album, The Writing on the Wall.
After leaving the group, she formed the group Anjel with LeToya, before starting an acting career. She also gave birth to Lyric Richard, her first child with producer Don Vito, in 2013. Hopefully, both LaTavia and Lyric’s little sister (or brother) are okay!
