Prepare to have your minds blown. Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s romance may be completely fake! An interesting new theory claims the two stars are just posing as a couple while Taylor makes a piece of performance art for her new album. See fans’ tweets here!
Hate her or love her, Taylor Swift, 26, may be the smartest woman in Hollywood. At least, that is if this theory — which suggests she and Tom Hiddleston, 35, are faking their romance for a piece of performance art — turns out to be true.
Taylor and Tom’s romance almost seems too good to be true, right? Well, maybe that’s because it is. An interesting (and brilliant!) new theory by fans, which was pointed out by Buzzfeed, claims their relationship may just be part of a piece of performance art for T-Swizzle’s next album.
Obviously by now, you’ve seen the pics of Tom wearing a t-shirt that reads, “I <3 TS,” as well as his temporary heart-shaped tattoo with the letter “T” in the middle. Seems a bit crazy for such a new relationship. That, along with the last two and half weeks of Hiddleswift PDAs, has forced fans to question the authenticity of the romance.
I really think the Taylor Swift /Tom Hiddleston thing could be a music video.
In fact as a screw you to the media I hope it is.

Does anyone else think Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are making an extended music video and fooling the world or is it just me???????

Becoming increasingly convinced that Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift are pulling a Joaquin Phoenix I'm Still Here style prank on us.

And that’s not all. Fans think Taylor may be creating a new album in the style Beyonce did with Lemonade, which was a visual album. As any big Taylor Swift fan knows, she has typically dropped albums at two-year intervals, and the two-year anniversary of 1989’s release is coming up in October. Taylor released the first single off the album, “Shake It Off,” in August 2014, so it’s possible she could drop something new in the next few weeks!
And if that’s not enough to convince you the romance may be fake, the Emmys are coming up in September, and Tom may be nominated for his role in The Night Manager. All this publicity would certainly help his chances of winning, so they’d both be getting something out of the deal!
But then again, they could also really be in love. Sometimes relationship are just that perfect. And a source close to the couple tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “that theory is not true.”
