Olé! Portugal have flattered to deceive at Euro 2016, but somehow they find themselves in the quarterfinal eyeing up a semifinal berth. Standing in their way is Poland, who for many, have been the surprise team of the tournament and have exceeded expectation. But we can only have winner, so click down for the live stream to see who advances to the next round!
Whether it’s 90 minutes, 120 minutes or even a penalty shootout, these two teams will need to be separated. Portugal has been the tie specialists in this year’s tournaments. They even needed a goal in extra time to see off Croatia to edge past them in Round 2. So they will be feeling pretty exhausted out there.
Poland has enjoyed a very eventful Euro 2016 campaign, and this appears to be their best team for some time. Tough defensively to break down, they boast the services of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, who is a match for anyone. He hasn’t had the most successful of tournaments, not registering a goal in his 4 games so far, but surely he’s too good a player to continue that barren run.
Portugal will, again, rely on Cristiano Ronaldo to be the match-winner. After the first few games he looked like a beaten man, but he rediscovered his form against Hungary and was back to himself against Croatia.
