Chris Mosier is a triathlete, advocate, and speaker that continues to make history. Now, he can say he is the first transgender sportsman to pose in ‘ESPN’ The Magazine’s Body Issue completely naked.
Chris Mosier, 35, was the first out transgender athlete to compete in a world duathalon championship and now he continues to make a glorious name for himself. The exciting news emerged on June 30 that Chris will be the first transgender athlete to pose nude for ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue. We’ve got all the details and the stunning photo right here!
Chris is one of the many A-list sportspersons stripping down to their birthday suit for the 8th annual issue. The list of ten women and nine men includes the likes of Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wayde, 34, UFC fighter Conor McGregor, 27, Superbowl MVP Von Miller, 27, and pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, Jake Arrieta, 30.
In his photo, Chris is completely naked as he runs through the woods. His slim, muscular figure is posed just perfectly as he makes his way over a large rock while turning his head to look behind him. The photo is just incredible!
“I was just never comfortable until about four years ago, when I started feeling comfortable with my body overall,” Dwyane explained inside the article. “As you go through life, you get more comfortable with yourself. It’s like everything else with life — you change, you grow. People might think it’s simple, but for me it was hard to even feel comfortable walking around naked when it’s just me and my wife. So the thought of doing it at a photo shoot in front of people [laughs]—it was like, ‘No way ever.’”
