Bad boy alert! Jordan Rodgers has definitely caught JoJo Fletcher’s eye on ‘The Bachelorette,’ but his intentions aren’t so great, a new report claims.
Jordan Rodgers wants to be famous. That’s the rumor that’s been going around The Bachelorette mansion — but is it all true? Could he really be lying to JoJo Fletcher. Jordan, 27, only went on the show to boost his career from former football pro to newscaster, a new report claims. He also had high hopes for his season — and that included landing the role as the next Bachelor!
“He knew football wasn’t going to work out, and he wants to be famous desperately,” a source told Us magazine about the QB who was cut by the Miami Dolphins in 2014. So he landed a role on Pitch Perfect 2 before looking into TV. “Originally, Jordan wanted to go on The Bachelorette to become the Bachelor. That was his goal.”
He actually had a friend who worked in casting, which helped him land a spot in the finalists. “He plotted this,” a source said, adding that the producers had no idea of any ill intentions and really “thought he was there for the right reasons.”
We’ve seen that JoJo has had some hesitation too about Jordan and his real feelings. “JoJo feels like Jordan is out of her league, for some reason,” a show insider told the mag. “Even though he says he’s falling for her, JoJo is concerned that he’s not as into her as she is into him.”
However, that’s not true — his feelings reportedly changed throughout the show.
“In the beginning, yes, Jordan went on the show for his career, but then it 100 percent switched,” the source added. “He was really into JoJo. He definitely fell in love with her.”
