‘Scream’ Recap: Kieran Betrays Emma & Noah Discovers Audrey’s Secret

After Jake's body fell out of thin air -- literally -- the sheriff put the entire school on lockdown during the June 28 episode of 'Scream.' And while inside the high school, a ton of secrets were revealed. Plus, Kieran totally threw Emma under the bus before she came face-to-face with the killer. We had no idea Kieran (Amadeus Serafini) was such a dirtbag. He threw Emma (Willa Fitzgerald) under the bus the first change he got during the June 28 episode of Scream. After the school was put on lockdown, following the reveal of Jake's dead body, someone planted his phone in Emma's backpack. She tried keeping it a secret, as she was afraid she'd become the prime suspect, but Kieran later told the sheriff about it in order to get himself out of trouble. How rude!

Kieran betrayed Emma because police found a gun in his locker. And in order to get out of trouble, he had to give the sheriff some valuable information. That information ended up being the whereabouts of Jake’s cell phone.

Meanwhile, Noah started getting suspicious of Audrey when she mentioned multiple dead bodies in the wake of Jake’s death. Noah and the rest of the gang only know about Jake’s death, so he suspected she was hiding information. Then, after she accidentally said she was getting scary “calls” instead of “texts,” which she had previously mentioned, Noah took it upon himself to steal her phone and go through it. And that’s when he found that disgusting video of her peeling the words off Jake’s dead corpse in the storage locker.

And later, when Emma was camped out in her teacher’s office after she slapped a peer in the face, the killer called her. Then, they came face-to-face through the office window. As the killer stood in the hallway of the high school, Emma took a chair and threw it through the window. When the glass shattered, the killer was gone, but Emma seemed determined to stop playing his or her games. She returned to the library covered in blood (from the broken glass), but refrained from mentioning her meeting with the killer when the sheriff started asking questions.

Brooke also dealt with the aftermath of Jake’s death, which was extremely sad to watch.
