SO sweet! Louis Tomlinson has joined forces with a young fan’s family to help them raise money for their six-year-old daughter living with a debilitating condition. Louis EVEN blasted out an adorable message for the little cutie to help promote her fundraiser!
What a heart of gold! Louis Tomlinson, 24, showed his true colors on June 22 when he tweeted an adorable message about his “friend” Georgia Edwards, 6, who suffers from Rett syndrome. In his shoutout, the One Direction member revealed that he’s helping the Edwards family raise money to help pay for all of Georgia’s expensive medical equipment. But that’s not all Louis did — he also met with his tiny fan AND sent her a super sweet video message. Check it out below!
“Georgia, it’s Louis from One Direction — hi! Can’t wait to see you, the other boys are excited too. See ya soon!” Louis said in his precious vid for little Georgia. How sweet is THAT? Not only did Georgie, as she’s affectionately called, get to meet Louis, but she got to meet Niall Horan, 22, and Liam Payne, 22, as well! Talk about an epic gift!
And on June 22, the new father took to Twitter to support Georgia’s fundraiser even further. “My friend Georgie needs some love & any donations you can spare for equipment to help her,” Louis compassionately wrote to his fans — as if One Directioners needed another reason to love Louis!

And while at just six years old, Georgia doesn’t fully understand the concept of her condition, like millions of other little girls, she is a huge One Direction fan! We can only imagine how thrilled she must be to have Louis and the boys onboard to help spread awareness about her fundraiser as well as her condition.
It all started when Louis’ mom, Johannah Poulston, learned about the Edwards family’s campaign via Facebook. Once she told Louis about it, he was totally game to help Georgia’s mother, Katie Edwards, in any way that he could, according to Sun Online.
“[Meeting the boys] was one of the happiest days of Georgia’s life, she is absolutely obsessed with One Direction she adores them,” Katie gushed to the publication. “Since then Louis and his mum have stayed in touch and we just cannot thank them enough.” Aw!
The Edwards are trying to raise £10,000 for Georgia, and so far they are over 10 percent of the way there! To donate, you can visit their crowdfunding site here. Georgia was diagnosed with Rett syndrome back in 2013. Her rare condition affects the development of the brain and causes severe physical and mental disability that begins in early childhood, according to the family’s site.
