The First Lady Michelle Obama has arrived in Morocco, and as always, she looks great! Mrs. Obama touched down with daughters Malia and Sasha, and the trio looked fresh-faced and glowing despite the lengthy flight. Get the details on their Moroccan trip, ahead!
Michelle Obama, 52, and daughters Malia, 17, and Sasha Obama, 15, arrived in Morocco on June 27, looking as fashionable as ever. Greeted by the king of Morocco’s wife, Princess Lalla Salma, you’d never know the Obamas just stepped off a plane.
The Obamas headed to Morocco to promote education for girls with their Let Girls Learn initiative. The trip is also set to include an event with actresses Meryl Streep and Freida Pinto to help further the program’s initiative to help girls obtain a quality education.
Coordinating their looks, the first lady dressed in a floral print wrap dress and heels. Her hair was styled into a shiny blowout with loose waves, and though she kept her makeup very simple, Mrs. Obama added a pop of color with a berry lip — always a great way to freshen up your look after a long flight.
Following her mother’s lead, Sasha wore a floral print dress as well but accessorized with some choker necklaces. Sasha’s shoulder-length locks were styled into a smooth blowout as well, but the teenager didn’t need a drop of makeup. Meanwhile, though Malia kept with the sleek blowout and no makeup theme, she opted to wear a navy jumpsuit with a striped shirt and strappy flats instead of a floral print dress.
Just a few weeks ago, Malia celebrated her high school graduation back in Washington, D.C., with her parents and younger sister by her side. The oldest daughter of the first family will be taking a gap year before heading off to attend Harvard University in the fall of 2017. With Malia taking a year off before returning to school, we hope this means we’ll see her join her parents on more trips like this one.
