Leave it to Rihanna to debut a new trend! The songstress ditched her sheer dresses and plunging necklines for a look that was more covered up as she sported a pair of denim chap boots from her collaboration with Manolo Blahnik — who better to show them off than RiRi herself?
Thigh’s the limit for Rihanna! The songstress, 28, loves switching up her style and experimenting with trends and while her show=stopping looks are usually quite daring, she still managed to steal the spotlight even though she was all covered up when she was spotted leaving London’s nightclub Drama on June 26, where she opted for an interesting denim outfit for the outing, rocking a pair of thigh-high boots from her very own high-fashion collaboration. Let’s investigate her look!
Rihanna sported her Manolo Blahnik “9 to 5” boots, (which feature embellished detailing at the top), over a pair of tiny denim shorts. So, how do the boots stay up? Well, thanks to the matching embellished belt, of course! The bedazzled belt adds a major Western vibe to the sexy shoe. She polished off the look with a bold red lip and wore her hair in soft waves, adding a glam vibe to the double-denim look. She continued to play with proportions as she rocked a white top which featured an asymmetric hemline which trailed down the back — but there’s no denying the fact that her denim boots were the main focal point of the outfit.
Paired with tiny denim shorts, it was actually quite hard to tell where the boots stopped and the shorts began — had she worn them over a pair of black leggings it definitely wouldn’t have been as confusing. Rihanna’s ‘9 to 5’ boots are part of her Rihanna X Manolo collaboration and retail for $3,995 — and we couldn’t imagine anyone else rocking them quite like RiRi.
