Rob Kardashian is really putting his family through a lot! Kim, Khloe and the rest of the gang reel from the shock of his getting engaged to Blac Chyna in the June 26 episode of ‘KUWTK’, and they all feel hurt that he didn’t tell them.
Kim Kardashian, 34, Khloe, 31, Kourtney, 34, and the rest of the gang are not here for Rob Kardashian‘s secrecy. The family tries to enjoy their Vail trip in the June 26 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but the news of Rob’s engagement to Blac Chyna, 28, is super upsetting. Will their family unit survive?
We pick up where last week’s ep ended — as the Kardashian sisters learn the news of their brother Rob’s engagement while in Vail, they all react in different ways. Kim and Khloe are baffled and hurt that Rob didn’t tell them about it, while Kourtney shrugs it off, declaring that it’s none of their business.
Kris Jenner finds out a little while later, and she’s totally upset. “He should have called me. I didn’t do anything to him,” Kris says. “To hear that Rob got engaged through social media is disappointing, to say the least. I had no idea.” So heartbreaking! “I’m in shock and trying to digest this whole situation,” the matriarch adds.
Meanwhile, things are super awkward between Kourtney and Scott Disick as they find themselves spending tons of time together in close quarters while skiing. “This trip is the most time Kourtney and I have spent together since we broke up. I don’t really know how to act,” Scott admits.
At lunch one day, Kim continues to be cut up over Blac and Rob. “I got married once and didn’t tell my whole family. But it just seems so…not like him,” Kim says. “Why was he able to propose in front her whole family? He’s excluding us from so many things,” Khloe agrees. “Rob is full of bullsh*t and I can’t handle it.”
“Kim, you’re the only one who can patch all of this stuff up,” Tyga says. He might be right!
Kris plans a big dinner at the top of the mountain with her family and friends, but all of her children bail on her and decide to eat at their hotel instead. They debate whether to call Rob, but no one really wants to talk to him. Kourt and Scott get friendlier toward each other, and it seems like they might be able to stay friends after all. Tyga continues to be the surprising voice of reason and support. “You have a really strong family,” he points out, encouraging them all to do a toast. How sweet! Then the kids all go bowling together and have a ton of fun letting off steam.
The next day, Kim apologizes that they all skipped Kris’ dinner. “We should all be there and be an emotional support for her,” Kim says. Yep, they’re all going through a difficult time right now thanks to Rob.
A little while later, Kourtney thinks it was a great decision to have Scott come on the trip. “I’m really glad I let Scott come. It’s for the kids, for their memories. And he’s been really good and fun,” she tells Kim in a ski store, while Kris shops for gear that she’ll never wear…because she doesn’t ski.
Rob texts Kris to call him when she’s alone, and she tells them so over dinner. “Caitlyn did it, and now Rob’s doing it,” Khloe says of his secrecy. “There’s no loyalty or family unity anymore,” Khloe complains. “He probably doesn’t want to reach out, thinking we are judgmental,” Kim says, defending Rob. “So I think I should make the first move.” Kris continues to worry about Rob and misses him.
Kim reveals that she finally tried to get in touch with her absent brother. “I reached out to Rob, and now I’m just waiting for him to respond.” Hopefully he’ll respond to Kim and they can communicate to help solve this whole big mess!
