Many LGBT people have come together on YouTube over the years to share who they really are, and after the horrifying atrocity of the Orlando shooting, YouTube wants them to know how much they are loved. So YouTube released a video montage of YouTubers like Tyler, Joey, Troye, Gigi, Chris O’Flyng, and so so many more!
“Now, more than ever, it’s important that we help accept, love, and celebrate one another,” YouTube said in the video description. “In the wake of the tragic events in Orlando, we stand together in support of the LGBTQ community. We stand together with everyone who has the courage to own and share their identity. We stand together to show the power of solidarity, the power of love, the power of pride. To those beautiful and brave voices who continue to make YouTube the vibrant, diverse and empathetic community it is, we are #ProudToBe with you.” So touching!
The video is inspiring and inclusive to everyone, with creators coming out of the closet and sharing their stories about being gay, lesbian, transgender, genderqueer, agender, omnisexual, polysexual and everything in between. They shared their fears, their heartbreak, their love, their power, their biggest insecurities and greatest achievements, and it honestly moved us to tears. Fans then took to Twitter to share their support, and make their own videos saying what they’re #ProudToBe.
