Whoa! Selma Blair is finally explaining what caused her June 20 freakout on a plane. She said that she ‘made a big mistake’ after screaming that someone ‘burns’ her and ‘is going to kill’ her. Here’s what she says happened.
Selma Blair’s airplane meltdown on June 20 was completely bizarre, and on June 21 she finally revealed what caused the scary outburst. Selma revealed that she “made a big mistake” before her flight. Find out what it was, right here.
Yikes, Selma is definitely feeling the heat after her June 20 outburst on a plane, and she’s finally opening up about what caused the disturbing rant. “I made a big mistake yesterday,” she began on June 21 to Vanity Fair. “After a lovely trip with my son and his Dad, I mixed alcohol with medication, and that caused me to black out and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret.”
Her biggest concern was her 4-year-old son. Luckily he missed the breakdown. “My son was with his Dad asleep with his headphones on, so there is that saving grace,” she continued. “I take this very seriously, and I apologize to all of the passengers and crew that I disturbed and am thankful to all of the people who helped me in the aftermath. I am a flawed human being who makes mistakes and am filled with shame over this incident. I am truly very sorry.”
After reading Selma’s apology, we feel really, really bad for her. Pills and alcohol are a dangerous mix, but a mistake anyone could make. During her flight on June 20, Selma began screaming “He burns my private parts” and “He beats me. He’s going to kill me,” said TMZ, before being hauled off on a stretcher. We’re so glad she’s okay now, and hope she doesn’t make that mistake again!
