Donald Trump ‘has written a lot of books about business. They all end at Chapter 11.’ So goes one of the sickest burns from Hillary Clinton’s rousing speech on the economy, and how Trump’s plans will absolutely ruin it. Read on to hear the details of her speech.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, 68, didn’t hold back when she gave a speech in Columbus, Ohio on June 21, slamming Donald Trump, 70, for his “dangerous” economic plans. Hillary told a riveted crowd about just how much the GOP candidate would screw up America’s economy if elected president; it’d be bad enough that our first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, would roll over in his grave!
It’s not much of a surprise for anyone who’s been paying attention to politics, but Hillary called to light that a Trump presidency would be absolutely disastrous to the United States economy. Calling him “reckless and perilous,” Hillary outlined all the ways that the famous, boisterous businessman would drag the country down into the biggest economic nightmare of all time.
Hillary, citing top economists, stated that Trump’s economic plan would lose the country about 3.5 million jobs and explode national debt. Those economists have reportedly called Trump the #3 threat to the economy! “Just like he shouldn’t have his hands on the button, he shouldn’t have his hands on our economy,” Hillary said firmly. “He calls himself the ‘King of Debt,’ and he’s going to live up to that.
She slammed her political opponent for not even having a real economic plan at all; he’s said before that the country could go into trillions of dollars in debt, and he’ll “borrow the money,” and has said that the solution to economic problems is to simply “print more money.” Um, inflation much? If it were that easy, we’d be doing it every day! “Maybe we shouldn’t expect better from someone whose most famous words are ‘you’re fired,'” Hillary said. Burn!
