OMG! Steph Curry’s dad is definitely feeling the pain after his son and the Warriors lost the final game of the NBA Championships. And to add insult to injury, one fan dabbed on him shortly after the final buzzer!
It was a tough loss for the Golden State Warriors and family after the team lost Game 7 of the NBA Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers on June 19. And while Steph Curry, 27, has been getting a lot of slack for losing the game, with fans making hilarious memes, it looks like his dad, Dell Curry, 51, was also a target of some of the humor when one fan dabbed on him as he extended his hand for a handshake! Too soon?
Cam Newton, 27, might have said the dab is dead, but apparently this fan didn’t think so! In a short video clip, a fan is seen approaching Dell with his hand out for what he thought was a handshake. Naturally, Dell extended his arm to meet the fan halfway. But just as he did, the fan dabbed on him before promptly walking away! SO hilarious! It looks as if the former professional basketball player didn’t even know what happened to him as he blankly stared at his hand. Poor Dell!
We’re sure Dell didn’t take it too personal. But it still might have added salt to the wound after having come all the way to Championship and going home without the title. But aside from this one incident, it seems that his son and daughter-in-law, Ayesha, 26, have been the target of every joke. Many fans even took to Twitter, photoshopping photos of Michael Jordan’s crying meme onto the couple’s faces. Ouch!
The Cavaliers beat the Warriors 93-89, with Kyrie Irving, 24, securing the win with a 3-pointer with only seconds left on the shot clock. The epic win makes the Cleveland players the first team to overcome a 3-1 deficit in the Finals. Wow! So it may have a sad day for the Warriors and Dell, but at least they can say they were apart of history!
HollywoodLifers, was this video of a fan dabbing on Dell Curry funny or what?
