Another week, another gruesome death on ‘Game of Thrones.’ But why did the death go down the way it did? In an new behind the scenes video, the team explains why that fight scene went down the way it did.
“The episode is really about bringing things home for Jon, having him fight for bringing things home, in his home,” executive producer and writer, D.B. Weiss said in a bonus clip. So, why didn’t he kill Ramsey in that insane fight? “There’s nothing he wants more than to beat Ramsey to eat with his own fist, and then he sees his sister who suffered at the hands of this man and he realizes that this person is not his to finish,” he said.
Well, that’s what he did — he let Sansa do it. Well, sort of. After he told her “I’m part of you now,” she literally fed him to the dogs. After they had been starved for seven days, they had no problem biting his face off. Yes, really.
Fans seemed pretty thrilled with the death, too.
“Badass #JonSnow fought an army, survived arrows, being stepped on,gave 21 punches to Ramsey’s face to soften him up for Sansa💪🏻#GameofThrones,” one Twitter user wrote. Another added, “Dont u just love how Jon was about 2kill Ramsey&then he saw Sansa and it’s like “he’s not mine to kill” &he let her finish it.”
However, this description and GIF definitely summed up all our feelings.

HollywoodLifers, were you surprised that Jon Snow didn’t kill Ramsey? The question also remains if Ramsey’s parting words to Sansa meant that she could be pregnant with his baby. Of course, we need to hear your thoughts on all of that, too.
