Ayesha Curry, 27, has been known to send a controversial tweet or two, but now that the Warriors lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, the tables have turned! Instead, it’s Cavs fans who are bringing the heat, mercilessly mocking Stephen Curry’s wife for her hubby’s brutal loss in Game 7.
A lot of the funny memes feature that infamous Michael Jordan, 53, crying face photoshopped onto Steph’s face in pics of the Warriors’ star with his family. Other shots show Cavs star LeBron James, 31, inserted into pictures of the Curry fam, too, and more slam Ayesha for keeping so quiet on social media during moments where the Cleveland native is dominating her man on the court.
“Proud of our men! #DUBNATION #WARRIORS,” Ayesha tweeted after the game. “That was an an insane season. Can’t deny it. Proud proud proud. Heart. Fight and passion. Everything according to his plan. always Glory to God!!!!!!!!!”
After Game 6, though, her messages weren’t as positive. “I’ve lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money,” she tweeted after Steph was ejected from the game in the fourth quarter. “Or ratings in not sure which. I won’t be silent. Just saw it live sry.”
She deleted the tweet, but not before everyone started talking about it and totally slamming her for being a crybaby. “I might have to cut the Wi-Fi off at my house,” Steph joked after the incident. “That’s between me and Ayesha, the conversation about what happened. That’s going to be handled.”
