The Royal Recycler was out in full force! Kate Middleton looked stunning in a brocade coat — and if it looks familiar that’s because it’s actually the fourth time she sported the exact same style ever since she first debuted it 10 years ago!
After showing off one stylish look after another while celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday, Kate Middleton, 34, was back to her familiar ways! The Duchess stepped out for a royal garden party at the Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland on June 14 where she looked perfectly polished in a pretty brocade Day Birger et Mikkelsen coat — and this wasn’t the first time we spotted this style on the royal! In fact, Kate dug deep into her closet, pulling out the ensemble that she first debuted 10 years ago.
Kate recycled the coat and gave it a fresh spin as she paired it with a rose-shaped hat from Lock & Co. Her go-to nude pumps and her trusty L.K. Bennett clutch complimented the look perfectly. While her locks are usually styled in a glossy, bouncy blowout, on this occasion she opted for a stylish side bun — and we loved the look. Gold and topaz earrings completed the ensemble as she decorated her chic outerwear with a gold Shamrock pin, a wedding gift from the Irish Guards.
The Duchess first debuted the coat in 2006 at the wedding of Sarah Parker Bowles. She then showed it off in 2011 at Zara and Mike Tindall‘s nuptials before breaking it out, once again, for the Paralympic opening ceremony in 2012 — and it looks like fourth time’s the charm for Kate!
From the brocade pattern to the flattering silhouette, we can totally see why she rocked it so many times — it’s now a classic staple in her wardrobe. If you love the look, you can recreate it with the floral Nine West coat HERE for $67. While we can’t get enough of Kate’s recycling ways, what do you think of her latest look?
