‘AGT’ is back this season and
better more different than ever. With one of my personal favorites, Howard Stern, gone, Simon Cowell is there — but do the other judges like the switch up?
We were all bummed when Howard Stern decided to leave America’s Got Talent after season 10 and creator Simon Cowell took his place. The show is clearly a little different with Howard’s voice gone and Simon’s coming in loud and clear. We chatted with host, Mel B. about what exactly has changed.

“Well they are two completely different people, like me and Heidi [Klum] are different people,” she told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “I think that what I can say about Howard and Simon is that they both have great integrity, they really care about the acts, they really care about the show… and they want to get the best out of people and create TV with special moments. They have great work ethic and they know how to spot talent!”
Well that’s for sure! One of the biggest gets this season so far is Grace VanderWaal, a 12-year-old, who has been declared the “next Taylor Swift” — obviously a huge compliment. Now sources have actually started telling us that NBC now really wants to get Taylor to come perform on the finale. And again, if anyone can get her, it’d be Simon. Catch up on AGT on Amazon here!
“Simon and the producers have been actively reaching out and hoping to set something up with Taylor, and though Taylor hasn’t made any decisions, either way the interest is there — and there is a very good chance that it will happen,” an insider told us.
HollywoodLifers, do you like Simon better than Howard? Let us know! America’s Got Talent airs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8PM on NBC.
