Tell me about Romeo and what he’s about.
Romeo is the sports manager of the current Everlasting suitor, he also happens to be his cousin. Romeo is quick witted, savvy, and a great businessman. However at the end of the day he cares for his cousin Darius more than anything else. Romeo wants the best for Darius and his career and is willing to do whatever it takes to get him to the next level in his football career.
How close are Romeo and Darius? Will he always have Darius’ back or could he betray Darius?
Like I said, Romeo and Darius are family first and foremost. They grew up together and have always had one another’s back. Darius would not be where he is as a successful football star without Romeo, and Romeo’s career thrives based on Darius’ success.
How will the second season of UnREAL be different than the first?
Season 2 tackles race inequality in society today, in addition to topics concerning women and their role in the world. UnREAL this season doesn’t hold back on speaking on those things that are typically said behind closed doors when it comes to racial issues and gender roles. It’s really great to be apart of a series that is speaking directly about these issues, while still being entertaining.
Romeo hooks up with Rachel in the first episode — are there legitimate feelings there?
He does indeed hook up with Rachel, but lets remember that this is UnREAL.
Everything has a motive. That’s all I’ll say about that.
What are Romeo’s intention by sticking around on set? Is he just a guy looking for an opportunity or is there something more?
Romeo is Darius’ manager so he is there to make sure everything is going the way it
should, and regularly monitoring the way his client is being treated while on
Everlasting. At the same time, Darius feels more comfortable with his cousin around. Romeo is his family and they found success together so Darius trusts him fully, something he’ll need in this manipulative environment. He ultimately wants to get through this show so they can go about their lives accordingly . . . unfortunately, that may have not been the best move. You’ll see.
