“We’ve got plans — Tim McGraw plans!” Brian revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about the duo’s next single. Nothing’s been confirmed yet, but the guys are pulling for the collaboration to be their next song to hit radio. “We’re going to see what happens,” Tyler added. “But we’re very excited about it.”
For the time being, though, Brian and Tyler are riding out the high of their current single, “H.O.L.Y,” a romantic song they dedicated to their wives.
“It felt special, it felt anointed and it felt like the perfect timing for us,” Tyler explained. “Even though it’s the beginning of summer and typically you’d release a party, up-tempo song, at the same time, this one still has a summer feel to it. It’s a different summer feel, but I think it’s just a special song that we really felt set the stage for the rest of the album.” Stream FGL’s music completely unlimited and ad-free HERE.
The guys’ third album, Dig Your Roots, doesn’t have an official release date yet, but they gave us an idea of what we can expect. “[We tried] to get something for everybody,” Brian admitted. “Whether that’s a reggae feel, or a song that makes you want to call your dad and tell him you love and miss him, or something like “H.O.L.Y” or “Life Is A Honeymoon,” we’ve kind of got it all, we hope. That’s the goal for us. Whether you’re trying to be happy, or any kind of mood you’re trying to hit, you got it.”
While at the CMA Festival, Brian and Tyler stopped by the Bud Country Club, sponsored by Budweiser, to hang out and serve drinks to their biggest fans. Budweiser is joining the guys’ Dig Your Roots tour and will be toasting to their fans throughout the year. FGL calls their partnership with Budweister both “authentic and like family,” as they celebrate everything that’s great about country music and America at every tour stop. They also took the stage at Nissan Stadium for an epic set on June 10, during which they performed some of their biggest hits like “Cruise,” “Sundaze,” and more!
HollywoodLifers, are you excited to hear FGL’s new song with Tim McGraw?!
