Can we get an instant replay here? Because ouch! The poor referee had no idea that he’d actually become part of the game when Álvaro got a little too close to him during the championship game at the Stadium Municipal in Toulouse, France. And forget the famous football stars flexing in this tournament; that referee has now become the most famous figure of Euro 2016!
Just watch the brutal move! Álvaro must have slipped when he went in for a powerful kick toward the sidelines, right next to the ref. Stumbling backward, he knocked into the ref’s legs with what turned into a massive, two-footed tackle! The ref toppled, and fell over right on top of Álvaro! Check it out below:

Even without this crazy moment, Spain vs. the Czech Republic is a can’t miss game. Spain are favored by many to dominate in Euro 2016, at least getting pretty far in the tournament! However, the Czech Republic are super competitive, and are likely not going to back down against Spain without a fight. They’re an older team with experienced players, and they’ve got the drive to get this job done. Do you think they’ll use Álvaro’s goof to their advantage?
