Could ‘Ugly Betty’ be back? It’s definitely possible; the cast and producers are definitely on board for a movie!

America Ferrera will always miss Ugly Betty — but she’s not completely convinced it’s over. During the cast reunion in Austin, Texas, she took the chance to pitch a revival movie!

“Hulu’s going to pick us up for a two-hour special,” America said during ATX TV Festival on the closing night reunion on June 11. Of course, she was kidding — but she does hope that happens.“That’s not true, but if you tweet it…Everybody here take out your phone. Hashtag: Betty Reboot. We need a hashtag and tweet it out and then we’re going to get Hulu to buy a two-hour special.”

Creator Silivo Horta was also on board.

“There are a lot more stories. I will say that being here with everybody, listening to these ideas, it’s kind of refreshing,” he said.

“Here’s the only thing I know for sure: If we were to do something, it would be a dream, but everybody on this stage would have to be involved, and Becki Newton.” Becki actually missed the reunion due to pneumonia.

“It was like losing a family. There’s always a little piece of me…that still doesn’t want to let this go,” America sad about the show, which ended after four seasons in 2010.

As a reminder: the Gilmore Girls Netflix revival was rumored to really get the wheels going at ATX last year… so maybe this will happen? Do you want to see more Ugly Betty?
