Sel’s hairstylist, Marissa Marino shared the Pantene spokesmodel’s new bangs on her Instagram. Marissa has been styling Selena’s hair throughout the tour, creating her bombshell curls for her onstage look each night.
Selena’s latest hair makeover comes just days after she debuted lighter locks in NYC while shooting her next campaign with Pantene. Sel’s highlights are such a fun way to subtly lighten up her locks for the summer, and we think the feathery bangs complement her soft layers perfectly.
While we think Sel looks amazing with her bangs, we’re not entirely convinced these are a permanent part of her look. Back when she filmed her music video for “Hands To Myself,” Selena sported blunt bangs with her dark locks, so this could just be another set of faux fringe.
To keep her hair healthy through all of her style switch-ups, Selena told InStyle: “I don’t wash my hair every single day — I’ll take a day or two in between to keep it healthy,” she told the magazine.
“[Pantene has] the new Expert Intense Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner, and basically I’ve been using that anytime I wash my hair. But, what’s more important to use is actually when I’m on stage with the Airspray. It’s super light and easy and it feels really good. I love to move my hair around — I don’t like it stuck in one position.”
