Part one of ‘The Bachelorette’ was insane on Monday night — so it was no surprise that Tuesday night picked up right where the drama left off.
The storm of Chad returned on the June 7 episode of The Bachelorette! Chad came into the house after his conversation with Chris Harrison and sort of made nice… for a few minutes. At the pool party, he tried to smooth things over with JoJo, but then overheard Derek (who?) telling her that he didn’t feel safe in the house. Uh-oh…

The drama with Evan was then put on pause at this point, when he approached Derek, basically dragging him down with his words, asking if he was scared, etc. He also pointed out that he didn’t “stalk” JoJo on TV since he had a life. You know you’re on the show you’re bashing right?
Anyway, they headed to the first rose ceremony of the night. And once again, Chad got the last rose of the night. Christian, Ali and Nick were all sent home.
JoJo brought the men to Pennsylvania next for a rugged vacation, and the first one-on-one went to Luke. They went on a dogsled through a forest, then she had him chop wood for the wood-burning hot tub, that ended up burning her. He really opened up about his life-changing experience in the military and losing his best friend. They then danced at a Dan + Shay concert… which would have been romantic if there weren’t a million fans there. Regardless, he definitely won all of our hearts.
For the group date, it was time for the guys to hang with some Pittsburgh Steelers, including Ben Roethlisberger, Hines Ward and Brett Keisel. Naturally, we’d assume that meant Jordan would shine? Well yes he did — but JoJo did tell him that she still wasn’t sure where he was at and that he was tough to read. Basically, he was just having a hard time opening up. So, he did; he told her he was falling for her. And that got him the group date (much to Robby‘s disappointment).
Meanwhile, Alex and Chad dreaded the two on one date, which meant that of course the two past Marines ended up with it. So basically they spent the night before just threatening each other, and then right before leaving, Chad threatened Jordan saying he’d come find him after the show ended.
If you had to set up the most uncomfortable date, this would be it. The guys went for a hike through the middle of nowhere with JoJo, naturally, and Alex was the first to get 1-1 time; naturally, he told her all about Chad. During her one-on-one time with Chad, she pulled the worst move that it seems is always done, and told him everything that Alex said.
Naturally, that didn’t go over well, and I have to give her major props for standing up to her. He basically said threatening was the only option for him. This ended with her breaking down in tears because she was torn, and tried to keep in mind that Chad had lost his mom — but was that an excuse?
Apparently Chad tried to take her tips, and talk to Alex saying he wasn’t happy for her… oh wait, then he said he was upset he couldn’t fight him. Ugh. When JoJo returned, she asked him if he had ever threatened anyone. Basically, he said yes. JoJo didn’t only not choose him, she told him off for being violent, and that she could never be with someone like that. And then just left him in the middle of nowhere.
The episode ended with a to be continued, and with Chad somehow walking all the way back to “Pete’s Cabin” where JoJo and Alex were. The show returns in two weeks!
