Dash in danger? The Kardashians’ famous shop in West Hollywood was firebombed late on June 6, and the only thing left behind was a bottle of lighter fluid and shattered glass, as police surveyed the crime scene!
It appears not everyone is completely transfixed by the famous Kardashian family, considering their high-end women’s boutique located in West Hollywood was the target of an arsonist on June 6. An unidentified suspect was spotted throwing a weighted, burning rag through the storefront window just after 11:15 pm. Luckily, the small fire burned itself out before any additional harm occurred.
The cops located a bottle of lighter fluid outside the store and are currently hunting for the person behind the incident, according to TMZ. Dash is owned and operated by Kourtney, Khloé, and Kim Kardashian and the vandalized shop is one of three across the US, including Miami Beach, New York City and Los Angeles. The West Hollywood location was established in 2012 after moving from their initial Calabasas spot in 2006.
“We got a phone call that there was a male who threw an object through the window,” West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station’s Lt. Edward Ramirez tells the Daily News. “We are treating this as an attempted arson.” The retail empire Dash has become a household name for many, with mentions coming from Keeping Up With the Kardashians in addition to receiving it’s own spin-off series Dash Dolls. Ramirez added that his station “received numerous phone calls, even from overseas.”
A response from the Kardashian family regarding the occurrence has yet to be released. They have been pretty busy as of late, considering Kim was recently spotted out in New York City supporting her hubby Kanye West for his surprise performance. His scheduled concert at the Governor’s ball had to be cancelled due to the weather.
