Julianne Hough, 27, took her co-hosting duties seriously at the 2016 Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas on June 5. As a judge on Dancing With The Stars, Jules is used to live television, so she took it up a notch for Miss USA by throwing in multiple hair and makeup looks.

Starting the night off in a dazzling silver gown, Jules’ hair and makeup started out classic with a volumized blowout and simple glowing skin. Julianne’s main glam team was behind her Miss USA looks, with Riawna Capri on hair and Spencer Barnes keeping her fresh-faced throughout the night.
Ahead of the show, Riawna shared that she would be working with Unite Haircare to create four different hairstyles throughout the competition. For her first look (and the base for all of her styles to come), Riawna gave Jules a smooth, volumized blowout with loose waves. For hair that won’t fall flat, even hours after you’ve styled it, prep your hair while it’s still damp with a mousse like the Unite Elevate Mousse. Spencer kept Jules’ makeup simplified as well, concentrating on dewy, glowing skin with a soft smokey eye and a glossy lip.
For her second look of the night, Jules switched into a blue jumpsuit, pulling her blonde locks into a loose low ponytail that got a little pageant sparkle with a silver hair clip. With her smokey eye still in place, Spencer traded in Jules’ glossy lip for a neutral lipstick with a shine finish.
During the evening gown portion of the competition, Julianne switched into a strapless red gown with the bold red lip to match. For her hair, Jules sported tousled waves that were parted off to the side. For her final look, Julianne opted for an updo, pulling her hair into a top knot at the crown of her head and going back to her glossy neutral lip.
Earlier in the day, Riawna showed us a behind-the-scenes look at Jules’ Miss USA prep, sharing this Instagram pic of her hair and makeup table. She also let us know that we’d be seeing plenty of beauty looks from Jules, captioning the photo: “The calm before the storm…😌 Make sure to watch tonight #MissUSAas @juleshough is co-hosting the show! I gotta do a few hair changes in 4 mins or less! 😳 Good thing I got @unite_hair to help me along the way! 😉 Wish me luck!”
