NFL star Aqib Talib, 30, was reportedly shot in the leg around 2:45am at the V Live club in Dallas, Texas on the night of Saturday, June 4, according to multiple reports. A clubgoer reportedly pulled a gun during a fight inside the club, according to TMZ, shooting the Denver Broncos cornerback and another victim. Learn more after the jump.
Aqib was taken to Medical City Hospital after being shot at the nightclub, according to Dallas police. The Denver Broncos player was discharged on Sunday, June 5. Another person in the club was also shot, but their identity, and the extent of their injuries is unknown. It is also unclear the exact location at which Aqib was shot; reports have that one person was shot by the gunman in the club, and the other victim outside, where the fight moved before police arrived.
Information on whether or not the gunman was arrested was unavailable. Authorities are still asking for anyone with information about the shooting to come forward to assist with the case.
