Judo chop! We don’t what was said, but Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr certainly didn’t agree with the officials and he took it out on his whiteboard! Watch how the Warriors head honcho puts his fist straight through his clipboard here during the NBA Finals game 1 on June 2! Hi-ya!
This is just hilarious! Even the normally mild-mannered Steve Kerr, 50, has a temper! The Golden State Warriors coach most-definitely took offense to officials’ decisions, and he really took it out on his whiteboard during game 1 of the NBA Finals. The mastermind behind the Warriors’ success smashed his first through his tactics clipboard, shattering it into small pieces court side!
It all went down in the third, when Golden State, who at one point held a 12-point lead, squandered it to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers by just one point. Obviously, feeling frustrated by his team’s sudden decline in the game, he felt the need to air his frustrations.
That called for a clenched fisted slap on his whiteboard, where all his teams’ tactical plays are drawn out during the game, and he smashed into lots of tiny pieces. He also looked like he mouthed a few choice words to the officials court side, who just looked on in shock.
He’s actually such a great coach, and it was great to see him so passionate about a decision that he felt went against his team. Bizarrely, we couldn’t see why he was complaining, but we’re sure he had reason!
Sports coaches are well known for losing their tempers, but we wonder what it was that rattled Steve? We wonder if he’ll see the funny side of it later on.
HollywoodLifers, have you ever seen anything like that on the basketball court before? Did you find it funny? Have you ever seen Steve lose his cool like that? Tell us what you think below!
